# DAO FUND

A DAO fund is put in place to further sustain peg when peg is at risk.

A treasury fund has been set up as an additional measure to backstop LION 1:1 DAI peg alongside the $LBOND mechanism. 

* As Roaring Lion is a Toxic Deer fork, it also has a bot peg defender bot which uses treasury funds to maintain the peg. Its sells when TWAP is above and buys back when its below. 
* When the $LION TWAP is extremely high, the treasury fund will sell some $LION in order to repair its reserve funds that it may deploy in the event of slipping below peg.
* The Treasury Fund may or may not make additional investment to yield and grow it's assets.
